Recreation Services

Whether you’re learning new life skills or just looking to have fun, The Arc’s Recreation Services Program offers adults with disabilities (16+) plenty of ways to connect, socialize, and make friends across Burlington County.

Our program features a diverse calendar of events—from dances and Club Connect social nights to HAPPY Trails outings, picnics, plays, cooking sessions, and more. We also offer Respite services on select Saturday mornings.

Monthly Dances

Upcoming Dance:

• Date & Time: August 22, 2025 (Rain date: September 5), 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Location: 1015 Deacon Road, Hainesport, NJ 08036
• Theme: Summer Masquerade Bash
• Cost: $40 per person

Join us for a magical evening under the stars at our Summer Masquerade Bash! Enjoy delicious food, festive vibes, and live music by the Top Flight Brass Band. The dance will be held outdoors under our new pavilion, with a wheelchair-accessible entrance.

Our monthly dances are open to men and women 16 and older with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Admission is $10.00 per person (unless otherwise noted for special events). Parents or accompanying staff enter free. Anyone needing assistance must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Club Connect

Every Thursday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Club Connect meets at 1015 Deacon Road in Hainesport.

Club Connect is designed to bring adults with disabilities together for connection, laughter, and new experiences. 

No two weeks at Club Connect are exactly the same. One night you might find yourself leading the charge in a high-energy game, discovering a new favorite song during Karaoke, or winning at Bingo! We celebrate each month’s birthdays as a group—because everyone deserves to feel special.

Club Connect isn’t just about having fun—it’s about building lasting friendships, practicing social skills, and creating a sense of belonging. Whether you’re outgoing or a little shy, you’ll find a warm welcome here.

HAPPY Trails

HAPPY Trails is The Arc’s newest program designed to make community inclusion easy—and fun—for adults with disabilities. Throughout the year, we’ll head out together for all kinds of adventures in and around Burlington County, from cheering at baseball games and learning to play pickleball in the park, to bowling nights, live theater, and special holiday-themed outings. Every outing is a chance to build friendships, experience something new, and be part of our community.

HAPPY Trails activities can be covered through NJ DDD Community Inclusion units or self-paid, so everyone can join in. The cost of the outings will vary in price. Please note that these outings will be limited to 6 participants. Participants for these outings must be dropped off and picked up from the specified location. 

Our very first outing kicks things off at the Moorestown Theater, where we’ll catch a live performance of "Show Stoppers" by the Moorestown Theater Company. The show features fan-favorite musical numbers from the past 20 years—a perfect way to start making memories together.
