Whether it’s learning new life skills or enjoying social activities, there is always an opportunity to have fun and make new friends through The Arc’s Social Activities Program for adults with disabilities!

The Program offers a wide range of activities for adults 16 years of age and over with disabilities. It's geared toward providing entertainment and socialization opportunities throughout Burlington County. Activities and events include dances, Club Connect, trips, picnics, plays, shows, cooking clubs, etc.

Monthly Dances

• Location: Burlington County Special Services School (transitions gym, separate building just past main building on left), 20 Pioneer Blvd, Westampton, NJ 08060
• Cost: $10 per person

Theme: Greased Lightning
Get ready to rock around the clock at our upcoming "Greased Lightning" dance, celebrating the iconic music of the 1950s! Join us for a night of fun as we dance to the hits of the decade. We encourage you to show off your best 50s attire—think poodle skirts, scarves, pedal pushers for the ladies, and slicked-back hair with tees and jeans for the guys.

Join us as we mark the 45th anniversary of our beloved Monthly Dances. Our Rockin to the 50s' dance is sponsored by Sponsored by Grand Knight, Officers and Members of Knights of Columbus in Delran, St. John Neumann Council #1436.

Dances are held on a monthly basis! These events are open to men and women over 16 years of age with intellectual or other developmental disabilities, as well as their families. To purchase tickets and view themes, locations, and dates, please refer to the social activities calendar located at the bottom of this page.

Dances run from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and there is a $10.00 admission fee. Parents or accompanying staff members of dancers enter free of charge.

Participants must be 16 years or older. Those needing assistance or supervision must be accompanied by a responsible adult. 

Club Connect

Club Connect, part of our Social Activities, will meet at our 1015 Deacon Road location in Hainesport, NJ. Plan to enjoy games, crafts, music, and refreshments from 6-8 p.m. with old friends while you make some new ones!

We’ll celebrate the month’s birthdays, play some of your favorite games, learn some new ones, pick out the luckiest Bingo cards, enjoy a snack or learn to make one, and just have a great time each week. Admission at each session is $10.00 per person. Everyone is welcome. To register and pay for the Club Connect activity, simply refer to the social activities calendar or pay at the door.
